I work full time and wasn't giving up my life to get fit, so I built an app that plans it all. Every scan lands here to prove the system works, good months and bad.
The line is Coast's planner run on my scan numbers. The dots are me.
Same spot, same light, same shorts, every month. Pick any two months to put side by side.
The complete scan history, the blood work, and the decade before it, out of the way until you ask.
// Δ is total change from baseline · a column is added each scan · "-" means not measured on that machine
182 cm and under 60 kg right through my teens. 67 kg leaving uni. When I finally focused on my eating, a first bulk got me to 82 kg in 18 months, but I did it the miserable way: hours of planning, the same meals every day, forced down. It never stuck. Then a year out of the gym and I was back to 77 kg. July 2026 was the restart, this time with the app doing the planning. That's why Coast exists: the least time in, the most result out, in a way that lasts.
Everything on the page above is measured, and nothing gets published unless it was measured. The 1 July baseline is an Evolt 360 bioimpedance scan; from 18 September onward it's DEXA, which is a different and more accurate method, so the two are not perfectly comparable and the switch is marked in the table. The route line is the one thing on this page that isn't a measurement: it's generated by the app's planner from my scan numbers, and it's shown dashed for exactly that reason. The two old phone photos are the other deliberate exception, included for context.
The Lab
The route, the program, the meal plan and the tracking on this page all come out of Coast. Same free app, same tools.
